Louise Virginia Stone, age 87, of Birmingham, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006.

Visitation was held at Charter Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Services were held at the funeral home on Friday at 2 p.m. with Brother Johnny Powers officiating. Burial was in Mt. Signal Cemetery in Chelsea, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorials be made to the Kindred Care Hospice or to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera, Alabama.
