-Runaway juvenile from 10570 Highway 11 (Chelsea High School), Chelsea.

-Death investigation from the 15000 block of Kenley Way (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Burglary from the 4700 block of Highway 11 (commercial). Miscellaneous car titles and $150 in U.S. currency were stolen.

-Recovery of stolen vehicle from Westside Lane (commercial), Columbiana. A 2006 Volkswagon Bug was recovered.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Westside Lane (commercial), Columbiana. A white 2006 Chevy Silverado, with a large commercial sprayer in the bed, was stolen.

-Theft of property from the 2000 block of Mooney Road (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen were an Echo chainsaw valued at $419.88, a saw, a skill saw, a miter saw and a nail gun.

-Harassment from Old Mill Road (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Civil dispute from the 1000 block of Knollwood Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 2900 block of County Road 71 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Promoting prison contraband III and possession of drug paraphernalia from 380 McDow Road (Shelby County Jail).

-Domestic violence III – harassment from the 4000 block of Highway 47 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Perjury from 112 N. Main Street (Shelby County Courthouse, Courtroom 5), Columbiana.

-Fraudulent use of a debit card from the 4100 block of Kenley Way (other, unknown), Birmingham. Stolen from a debit card was $843.57.

-Theft of property from 5301 U.S. 280 at Lloyds (restaurant), Birmingham. Stolen was a black 2004 Ford F350.

-Possession of controlled substances from the 2000 block of County Road 47 (highway, street), Shelby. Recovered were 15 grams of Gabapentin, 2 grams of Paroxetine, 6 grams of Carisoprodol, 0.5 grams of Antispastic, 0.3 grams of Promethazine and 3.8 grams of crushed pills in the form of blue powder.

-Violation of protection order from Washington Street (Shelby County High School), Columbiana.

-Identity theft from the 100 block of Hunters Lane (residence, home). Stolen from a debit card was $491.46.

-Burglary from the 9000 block of Old Highway 280 (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen were 10 to 15 button down shirts valued at $400, 10 to 12 neckties valued at $200, 10 hats valued at $200 and 4 to 5 pairs of shoes valued at $300.

-Attempt parents permitting children to engage in production of obscene material from Southwood Drive (residence, home), Alabaster.

-DUI from U.S. 280 at County Road 47 (highway, street).

-Motor vehicle accident – deer vs. vehicle from South Shades Crest Road north of Morgan Road (highway, street), Helena. Damage valued at $500 was done to the front end of a black 2003 BMW 745i.

-Death investigation from the 5700 block of Highway 51 (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Harassing communications from the 7000 block of Old Highway 280 (residence, home), Sterrett.

Oct. 8

-DUI and unlawful possession of a controlled substance from U.S. 280 at Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street), Birmingham. Recovered were eight Oxycodone Hydrocloride 15mg tablets, with a weight of 0.7 grams each.

-Criminal mischief from the 100 block of Two Lakes Trail (residence, home), Columbiana. A window was damaged.

-Death investigation from the 6400 block of Highway 55 (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Trespassing from the 11000 block of Highway 42 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Burglary from Griffin Corporate Drive (service, gas station), Chelsea. A cash register was recovered. Stolen were a credit card machine, Swisher Sweets cigars, Marlboro special blend cigarettes, Marlboro Lights and Longhorn tobacco.

-Theft of property from the 0-100 block of Chism Circle (residence, home), Montevallo. A laptop was stolen.

-Discharging a firearm into occupied dwelling from the 2000 block of Highway 70 (residence, home), Wilsonville. A lead tip from a discharged bullet was recovered. Damage in the amount of $700 was done to siding, wall stud and interior sheet rock of a mobile home.

-Assault from the 100 block of Lorrin Lane (residence, home), Sterrett. Recovered was a black-handled steak knife valued at $5.

-Domestic investigation from the 2000 block of Springville Loop West (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from Liberty Road (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Domestic violence investigation from Highway 99 at Chopper Benson Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 3800 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Theft of property II from Highway 260 (residence, home), Maylene. Stolen was a yellow 2001 Suzuki dirt bike valued at $2,000.

-Burglary from the 1600 block of Shelby Springs Road (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen were 200 DVDs, five watches, a wedding ring and a toe ring.

-Domestic violence – harassment from Locust Creek (residence, home), Harpersville.

-Burglary from the 11000 block of U.S. 280 East (specialty store), Sterrett. Damage in the amount of $300 was done to a glass shop door.

Oct. 10

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 4000 block of Forest Lakes Road (residence, home), Columbiana. Recovered were a clear baggy containing a white powdery substance, a blue plastic toothbrush holder, a metal fingernail file, a syringe/needle and a Q-tip.

-Duty upon striking fixtures upon highway from the 5900 block of Highway 43 (Bear Creek Road). A large garbage can was damaged.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 2000 block of Berkeley Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. A small purse valued at $40 was stolen.

-Death investigation from the 600 block of Rocky Ridge Road (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Miscellaneous information from U.S. 280 (convenience store), Chelsea.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 2600 block of Drennen Place (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen were a laptop computer valued at $1,200 and a laptop bag valued at $50.

-Domestic violence – harassment from Meadow Ridge Road (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 4600 block of U.S. 280 (department store), Birmingham. A check book was stolen.

-Miscellaneous information from the 1000 block of 1st Avenue North (other, unknown), Alabaster.

-Criminal mischief from the 500 block of Chelsea Crossroads (parking lot, garage), Chelsea. Damage valued at $300 was done to the hood of a gold 1992 Honda Accord.

-Theft of property from Chesapeak Cove (residence, home), Birmingham. An Acer notebook computer valued at $100 was stolen.

-Domestic investigation from the 18000 block of County Road 55 (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Violation of protection order from the 20000 block of Highway 55 (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Property damage from the 700 block of Forest Lakes Road (highway, street), Chelsea. Damage valued at $600 was done to a sideview mirror on a gray 2008 Volvo XC90.

-Damage to county vehicle from the store at 5133 Highway 31 (service, gas station), Calera. Damaged was the left front rim on a white 2007 Ford Crown Vic.

-Leaving the scene of an accident with injuries from U.S. 280 at Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street). Damage was done to the rear of a blue 2000 Honda Accord.

-Criminal mischief and trespassed from property from the 7000 block of Highway 11 (residence, home), Chelsea. Damaged was the door lock on the front door of a trailer.

-Theft of property from 6282 Highway 119 (Professional Paint and Body), Alabaster. A vehicle tag was stolen.

-Miscellaneous information from the 0-100 block of Juniper Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Theft of property from the 0-100 block of Clear Springs Way (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen were a debit card and $120 in U.S. currency.

Oct. 11

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Horton Farm Road (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen were two Dell laptops valued at $800, a Sentry safe valued at $300, $1,500 in U.S. currency, $150 worth of silver coins, a 5000 watt generator valued at $700 and two Kushitana synthetic motorcycle jackets valued at $350.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 5000 block of Colonial Park Road (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Property damage from U.S. 280 East at County Road 440 (highway, street), Chelsea. Front end damage was done to a white 1995 Honda Accord.

-Criminal mischief from the 9000 block of Highway 55 (residence, home), Sterrett. Damage valued at more than $2,500 was done throughout exterior of trailer and front porch.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 100 block of Southwood Lane (residence, home), Alabaster.

-Harassing communication from the 100 block of Westbrook Road (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Domestic violence III – assault from the 2200 block of Highway 50 (residence, home), Vandiver.

-Harassing communications from the 3300 block of Highway 30 (residence, home).
