The Spain Park High School boys’ golf team finished second overall at the Country Club of Mobile High School Invitational golf tournament April 19-20.

Michael Johnson carded the low round on each day of competiton to lead the Jaguars to a score of 593, which was nine strokes behind Invitational winner Vestavia Hills.

Johnson shot a 2-under par 69 in each round of the tournament to finish with a score of 4-under par 138. Johnson finished third on the leaderboard.

The defending Class 6A champion Jaguars carded a 301 in the first round April 19 and a 292 on the final day of competition.
