The Kingwood Christian School volleyball team defeated Cornerstone Christian 25-20, 25-20, 25-7 in high school volleyball action Oct. 17.

Casey Whitmer led the Lions (21-9) with six kills in the victory. Whitmer also recorded eight service aces.

Madelyn Pearce contributed five kills and seven service aces. Katie McElroy finished with two kills and a team-high nine service aces.

Hannah Spinks registered a team-high six digs.
