Sandra L. Askew, 61, of Birmingham, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, in Jacksonville, Fla.

Ms. Askew was born in Birmingham and resided in Jacksonville, Fla. since 1983 and was a mother of four.

Her mother and stepfather, Margie and Jack Dunlap; her father, Haywood Askew; sister, Debbie Pickle and brother, Terry Askew preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Amanda Lynn Migues of Quinton, Kelly Anne Carillo of Deland, Fla, Iris Ann Ward of Homewood and Margie Elaine Migues of Kissimmee, Fla; three sisters, Glenda Askew of California; Bonnie Sue Askew of Columbiana and Diana Brown of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Larry Earl Askew of Columbiana and Aubry Askew of Birmingham; eight grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the Bolton and Letlow chapel in Columbiana. Bolton and Letlow funeral home was in charge of arrangements
