Shelby Baptist Hospital patients can now view accounts and make payments online via a secure web site.

A new online account service is available to patients at all four Baptist Health System hospitals &045; Citizens Baptist, Princeton Baptist, Shelby Baptist and Walker Baptist Medical Centers.

Officials say the service gives patients a convenient way to check accounts, at any time from any place that has Internet access. Patients also can pay bills online by check or several major credit cards.

&8220;We are happy to be able to offer the convenience and flexibility of this online account monitoring and payment option,&8221; said Janice Ridling, business office vice president.

Account information is updated daily and as soon as patients are billed. Through the service, patients can also check for insurance payments, and after making payments, they can print receipts.

Patients can access the new service from Baptist Health System&8217;s website at www.bhsala.com. From the home page, select the link &8220;View/Pay My Account.&8221;
