SPECIAL TO THE REPORTER
On Tuesday, Oct. 3, the Montevallo Rotary Club partnered with the Shelby Emergency Assistance Agency to host the second annual S.E.A. Golf Tournament at the Timberline Golf Course in Calera.
All proceeds from the golf tournament benefited Shelby Emergency Assistance.
S.E.A. is a United Way agency with a countywide focus that provides crisis counseling and education as well as emergency food and clothing to families in need in Shelby County. SEA is currently located at 620 Valley Street, Montevallo.
Because of generous contributions by community sponsors, the golf tournament was able to raise much-needed funds for S.E.A.
Rotary President Sam Scoma and Agency Director Paula Tall expressed congratulations to all of the golfers with special thanks to all of the SEA Board Members, Montevallo Rotarians, and all the tournament sponsors for their help in making the second annual SEA Golf Tournament a tremendous success
