The 6A Oak Mountain boys finished third and girls finished fifth in state cross-country results.

And four Oak Mountain cross-country runners made it in the all-state top 15.

The Oak Mountain boys with 88 points trailed only Mountain Brook with 83 and Smith Station with 84.

The Oak Mountain girls with 157 points tailed Mountain Brook, 30; Hoover, 90; Huntsville, 117; and Bob Jones, 131.

Three Oak Mountain boys and one Oak Mountain girl also finished in the top 15 (all state).

Making the top 15 boys were James Adair, sixth; Ross Laporte, eighth; and Shane Brogdan, 13th.
