No. 2 Falcons win three of four

The No. 2 University of Montevallo Falcon men&8217;s basketball team began the season winning three of four games last week.
UM lost at Miles College (63-60) on Wednesday, won at Stillman College (71-60) on Thursday, defeated Concordia-Selma (96-64) on Friday and Albany State (89-73) on Saturday.
The Falcons were expected to return to action on Nov. 21 to host Tuskegee University for a non-conference game before traveling to Las Vegas, Nev. to participate in the Las Vegas Thanksgiving Classic, hosted by Seattle Pacific University.
UM will play California State University-Dominguez Hills Friday at 2 p.m. (PT), 4 p.m. (CT), and the University of California-San Diego Saturday at 2 p.m. (PT), 4 p.m. (CT).
The Lady Falcons also began the 2006-07 season last week, and won two of three games.
UM defeated the University of Mobile, 84-80 in double-overtime on Wednesday. UM then split two games at the UM Coca-Cola Classic over the weekend.
Arkansas-Monticello defeated UM 72-68 on Friday. UM then defeated North Georgia College and State University, 79-76 on Saturday. The Lady Falcons of UM are 2-1 overall.
The Lady Falcons travel to Americus, Ga., for their only game of the week, at Georgia Southwestern State University for a non-conference game today at 5 p.m. (ET), 4 p.m. (CT).
