Funeral service for Ruth A. Gallahar, age 86, of Columbiana, was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Burial followed at Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Gallahar, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, at a local hospital, was born on Nov. 14, 1920 in Midfield.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Jackson Gallahar and a daughter, Judy K. Boylston.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbiana.

She is survived by her children, Robert E. (Jean) Gallahar and Cynthia L. (Marty) Pope; grandchildren, Meredith Leigh Saunders, Lesley Kay Boylston, Teri Glover;

great-grandchildren, Kyle, Chase and Jackson Glover.
