Floyd R. &8220;Bobby&8221; Cobb, age 78, of Center Point passed away on Dec. 8, 2006 after a brief illness at Medical Center East. He was retired from PEMCO after 42 years of service and was a member of Valley East Baptist in Pinson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maggie Jean; two daughters, Teresa (Rick) Lee and Phyllis (Larry) Jones; son, Phillip; sisters, Jerri Bates and Quida Thompson; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 from 5-7 p.m. and funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 at 12 p.m. both at Jefferson Memorial East, Trussville. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing
