Mary S. Parsons, age 92 of Wilsonville, died Dec. 12, 2006. Services were held Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. in Kilgroe Chapel with internment at Valley Hill Memorial. The Rev. Doug Ford officiated. Visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 6-9 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home.

Surviving are her two daughters, Karen (David) Eggler and Vivian P. (Jim) Davis; brother, Robert E. Smith; two sisters, Helen Smith Bearden and Phyllis Smith Kirk; five grandchildren, Jason Parsons, Suzi Bean, Becky Bice, Kim Eggler; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Franklin, Matthew Newton, David Michael Eggler, Micah Green, Joshua Bice, Mercedes Green and Dakota Lodge; and one great-great grandchild, Hayley Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Parsons, son, Avery Earl Parsons and two grandsons, Avery Earl Parsons, Jr. and Roger Lee Parsons. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services
