Funeral service for Mavis G. Tennyson, age 84, of Westover, was at

11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006 at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Travis Tidwell officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tennyson, who passed away on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006 at her son&8217;s home in Eclectic, was born on Oct. 16, 1922 in Shelby County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Presley Tennyson and daughter, Sherry Glass.

She is survived by her son, Pete Tennyson; daughters, Sandra Champion and Lou Ann Tennyson; 13 grand children and 14 great grandchildren and other family members and friends. Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directed
