Mrs. Reeves, age 80, of Alabaster passed away on Monday, Dec. 25. Mrs. Reeves was born in Alabamas on May 8, 1926. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mathis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James R. Reeves who passed away on Dec. 14. Survivors of Mrs. Reeves include her daughters, Linda Colegrove of Hoover and Lei Anne Woods and her husband Barry of Alabaster; sisters, Bernice Stanfield of Tallassee and Geraldine Weldos of Notasulga; four grandchildren, Jonathan Mashburn, Courtney Woods, Cara Woods and Caitlin Woods. Graveside services for Mrs. Reeves were held in Shelby Memory Gardens on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 11 a.m. Reverend Neil Knierim officiated.
