The streets will be filled with instrumental tunes on Jan. 15 in Montgomery for Inauguration Day.

Three area marching bands are guaranteed to perform from Rep. Jim McClendon&8217;s District 50; Springville High, St. Clair County High and Shelby County&8217;s Vincent High.

Rep. McClendon said he was confident that another school from Shelby County will perform.

&8220;It is traditional to have our high school marching bands perform on the historic day,&8221; said McClendon.

The plan is to have several bands representing all different areas of the state.

The parade will lead up Dexter Ave. to the steps of the state capitol where the governor and other constitutional officers will be sworn in.

Rep. Mike Hubbard said he had staff members working with the band directors and that letters were sent out to legislators asking for band recommendations.

Rep. Hubbard said the Auburn University marching band will be in attendance. &8220;This is a great way to get the public involved and come and see history in the making,&8221; said Hubbard
