Funeral service for Lorene Beddingfield, age 86, of Chelsea, was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, at K-Springs Church of God.

Visitation was one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Beddingfield, who passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at her home, was born on Oct. 4, 1920 in Shelby County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Beddingfield. She is survived by her children, Patricia Weldon, Virginia Armstrong, Reginal Kendrick; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Shaw, John Shaw; sisters, Jo Ann Holcomb, Burnell Musso, Louise Harris, Dorothy Buckley and a host of family and friends.
