MONTGOMERY – Three of the county biggest stars will take the stage in Montgomery this summer in one of the premier volleyball showcases in the state.

Spain Park’s Cailyn Kyes and Bea Wiggins and Thompson’s Kenzly Foote were selected for the North All-Star team in the 2025 North-South All-Star Classic.

JT Lawrence of the Alabama High School Athletic Directors and Coaches Association announced the selections on Saturday, Feb. 1 ahead of the annual showcase during North-South All-Star Week in July at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery.

Kyes excelled for the Spain Park Jaguars in 2024 as the team’s starting setter. She set a school record for assists in a single season with 895 and also came up with 334 digs, 75 kills, 67 aces and 21 blocks.

As a result, Kyes earned a selection to the All-County First Team along with an All-State Honorable Mention for Class 6A.

Wiggins played alongside Kyes for the Jags and put together a strong junior campaign. She racked up 348 kills and 293 digs as an outside hitter while also finishing the 2024 season with 48 aces and 41 blocks.

Wiggins secured Class 6A All-State Second Team honors for her excellent season as well as an All-County Second Team selection.

Foote earned a selection for Thompson after making the move over to outside hitter on a regular basis in 2024 but still finding success during the Warriors’ 2024 season. She secured 320 digs over the course of the season along with 188 kills, 78 aces and 33 assists despite typically playing libero.

Foote walked away with her second-straight selection to the All-County Second Team, this time as an outside hitter, while also taking home a Class 7A All-State Honorable Mention.

The trio of county stars will take the court alongside the other top rising seniors in the state of Alabama for the North All-Stars as they face the South All-Stars in Montgomery this summer.
