BIRMINGHAM – QDOBA, a leading fast-casual Mexican restaurant named by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards as the nation’s “Best Fast Casual Restaurant” for six years running opened its newest location in Birmingham on Nov. 18.

Known for its freshly prepared burritos, bowls and always free hand-smashed guacamole and signature  three cheese queso, QDOBA offers residents and guests a variety of flavorful, Mexican-inspired foods, including its own signature dishes as well as customizable meals. The new location at 425 20th St. South marks the first QDOBA restaurant in Birmingham. More than 30 new jobs are expected to be created as a result.

The 2,400 square-foot restaurant has state-of-the-art features, including a dedicated curbside pick-up area and catering. Guests will be invited to create their own meal by choosing from a variety of protein selections and toppings made in-house daily, including its always-free hand-crafted guacamole, QDOBA’s signature, pico de gallo and more.

QDOBA has arrived in Birmingham alongside QSR, LLC, owned and operated by Chander Arora, who is helping the brand expand its presence in the Birmingham market.

QDOBA uses ingredients freshly prepared in-house daily. Guests may enjoy one of its signature eats for convenience and ease or customize their own burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads to suit their personal tastes and cravings. Premium toppings can always be added to entrées at no extra charge, including signature three cheese queso and hand-crafted guacamole.

Regular store hours are Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. In additional to offering curbside pickup and catering, this location will also offer ordering via QDOBA.com or through the QDOBA app where guests can earn rewards for future visits.
