WESTOVER – The city of Westover will treat visitors and residents to a day of celebration as it hosts the 20th annual Westover Christmas Parade.
The parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. with a day full of festive celebration and activities for residents.
“Please join us for a day celebration with activities and prizes for our parade winners, “ Westover Mayor Larry Riggins said. “This is a most joyous season, and I want to personally invite you and your family or group to attend.”
The Westover Christmas parade will start at the corner of County Road 55 and Old Highway 280 and ends at Westover City Hall which is located 3312 Westover Road. Birmingham Bulls mascot Toro the Bull will serve as the parade’s grand marshal.
After the parade concludes, community members can join Santa Claus and Toro the Bull for a post-parade gathering where hot dogs and bottled watered will be provided.
