ALABASTER – Alabaster residents will have an opportunity to peruse through a variety of items from vendors during the city’s annual fall citywide yard sale.

Veterans Park in Alabaster will be filled with rows of vendors selling merchandise on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon during the fall 2024 city wide yard sale at 1306 Highway 119.

“It’s a good opportunity to kind of get to know your neighbors and do a little cleaning at the same time,” Alabaster Public Relations Manager Neal Wagner said. “You really see wide range of stuff (while you are) walking through the event each year.”

Each year, the city of Alabaster holds two citywide yard sales with one held in the spring and one set for the fall. Approximately 100 vendors will be set up across Veterans Park where they will have tables offering a variety of items for sale, including housewares, tools, books, home media, clothes, appliances, furniture and more.

Alabaster Community Programs Manager Morgan Lawley described the citywide yard sale as “100 mini yard sales in one.”

“We have this event twice a year and it’s not only a way to clean out around the house but also a way to meet new friends,” Lawley said.

After the event concludes, various charities will stop by to receive any unwanted donations from sellers to help those in need.

“It’s really a good event, all around,” Wagner said.

In the event of inclement weather, the rain-out date for the event has been set for Saturday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. to noon at Veterans Park.

There are currently a few booths still available for those wishing to register and be a vendor at the citywide yard sale. The cost is $10 per a 20 by 20 booth. Vendors are asked to bring their own tables, chairs and canopies. Those interested in registering may reach out at 205-664-6840.
