PELHAM – The Oak Mountain State Fair is heading back to the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre for a 10-day run this fall.

This year’s installment of the Oak Mountain State Fair will officially kick off on Thursday, Oct. 24 and run through Nov. 3 (not including Monday, Oct. 28).

Held at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre, the event will run from Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 24-27 and Tuesday through Sunday, Oct. 29 through Nov. 3. The family-friendly event will feature rides, attractions, food and more.

“We are excited that we were able to secure fall dates for the fair,” said John Ruffino with Live Nation. “Since 2013, we have had a (fair) event in the spring and fall.”

The traditional fair atmosphere will feature many rides, activities and food options that will include funnel cakes, cotton candy, corn dogs and more.

“For visitors who have attended the fair before, the fall event will feature the same type of rides and food attractions that we have had in the past,” Ruffino said.

“It will be a family-friendly environment with fun for all ages,” Ruffino said. “A great fair and local food items. We look forward to seeing everyone this fall.”

The fair opens at 5:30 p.m. on weeknights and at 1 p.m. on weekends.

Online ticket sales should be available two weeks prior to opening night or can purchased nightly at the gate.

Admission is $10 and unlimited ride wristbands are $30 Tuesday through Thursday and $35 Friday through Sunday. Kids 35 inches and below get in free. There is no charge for parking.
