NORTH SHELBY – The Fresh Market has announced the closure of its inverness Village location on Highway 280 after providing a spot for customers to secure fresh groceries for the past 20 years.

“We, at The Fresh Market, would like to thank you for your support and patronage,” read the email. “Unfortunately, we are in the process of closing our 4700 U.S. 280, Birmingham AL store and will miss being a part of this community.”

The location on U.S. 280 is set to remain operational for a short period of time until its final closure which was not specified by the company. The business encourages customers to visit the nearby location of The Fresh Market at 549 Brookwood Village in Homewood.

“We value the trust you’ve placed in us to deliver great tasting meals, signature products and an unparalleled shopping experience,” read the email.
