The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 30-April 5:
March 30
-Domestic violence-burglary third degree from the 200 block of Fleming Lane, Vincent. A front door (value unknown) was damaged, miscellaneous clothing sustained $2,500 in damages and two bed sheets/pillow cases sustained $200 in damages. Also, stolen were miscellaneous clothing valued at $100 and a necklace valued at $60.
-Drug paraphernalia from U.S. 280 at Shelby County 43, Chelsea. A burnt glass pipe with residue and an unknown substance in tablet form (3.6 grams) were confiscated.
-Death investigation from the 500 block of Mistletoe Lane, Vincent.
-Theft of property from the 3600 block of Cahaba Beach Road, Birmingham. A Stihl BR 800 X Magnum leaf blower valued at $1,000 was stolen.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 2000 block of Pelham Parkway, Pelham. Crystal meth (approximately 2 grams) and a marijuana joint (0.4 gram) were confiscated.
-Miscellaneous incident from the 500 block of U.S. 31, Alabaster.
-Incident from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea at Walmart.
-Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.
-DUI-alcohol from U.S. 280 and Shelby County 17, Birmingham. A Smith & Wesson SD9 VE 9-millimeter handgun with magazine containing 16 rounds was recovered.
-Trespassing from Wade Drive, Montevallo.
March 31
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from U.S. 31 and 11th Avenue Southeast, Alabaster. A clear crystal-like substance presumed to be meth (0.4 gram) was confiscated.
-Domestic investigation from the 200 block of Chelsea Park Road, Chelsea.
-Fleeing or attempting to elude, drug paraphernalia from U.S. 31 and 11th Avenue Southeast, Alabaster. A pipe with crack residue was confiscated.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence from U.S. 31 and 11th Avenue Southeast, Alabaster. Suspected crack cocaine (approximately 0.1 gram) was confiscated.
-DUI-alcohol from Shelby County 11 at Sports Highland Parkway, Chelsea.
-Drug paraphernalia from the 6200 block of Shelby County 47, Shelby. A syringe containing an unknown substance, joint with suspected marijuana (approximately 0.2 gram), glass crack pipe and miscellaneous other drug paraphernalia were confiscated.
-DUI-alcohol, improper lane usage from U.S. 280 and Corporate Parkway, Birmingham.
-Public intoxication, open container from U.S. 280 and Corporate Parkway, Birmingham.
-SORNA violation-registration with local law enforcement from the 1500 block of First Street, Alabaster.
-Incident from the 5000 block of Woodford Drive, Birmingham. A mailbox sustained $300 in damages.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 100 block of Emma Lane, Columbiana. Hydrocodone pills (3.36 grams) were confiscated.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 100 block of Emma Lane, Columbiana. Three plastic bags containing meth (2.45 grams), marijuana (0.31 gram), a glass meth pipe, one-hitter marijuana pipe and syringe with a blood/meth mixture were confiscated.
-Burglary from the 300 block of Shelby County 406, Shelby. Four cash registers, three wooden tables, a CD player, wooden indian, two bathroom mirrors, several glasses and stainless steel pots and pans were stolen.
April 1
-Property damage from the 4700 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. A 2020 Chevy Tahoe sustained $100 in damages.
-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of August Road, Columbiana.
-Harassing communications from the 200 block of Stone Crest Drive, Birmingham.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, drug paraphernalia from the 21500 block of Alabama 25, Columbiana. Marijuana (approximately 1 gram) and a metal pipe with marijuana residue were confiscated.
-Harassment from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.
-Theft of property third degree, criminal mischief from the 7100 block of Shelby County 49, Columbiana. Various clothing was damaged; various clothes and shoes, a queen-size goose down comforter, court documents and records, an iPad and approximately $600 worth or more of food and drink were stolen.
-Theft of property fourth degree from the 7100 block of Shelby County 49, Columbiana. A Chromebook (value unknown), Michael Kors watch valued at $300 and Kendra Scott necklace with gold chain and a blue oval pendant valued at $65 were stolen.
-Incident from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. Four sexual assault evidence kits and seven sexual assault evidence collection kits with bags were confiscated.
-Possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 6300 block of Shelby County 10, Montevallo. Crystal meth (10.86 grams), two narcotic pipes with plastic tube and a scale were confiscated.
-Theft of property from the 800 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham. A Smith & Wesson .40-caliber pistol was stolen.
-Incident from the 1000 block of Grove Park Way, Birmingham.
-Domestic violence-harassment from the 6800 block of Chelsea Road, Columbiana.
-Domestic incident from Dusty Hollow Road and Alabama 70, Columbiana.
-Death investigation from the 200 block of Four J Road, Chelsea.
April 2
-Unlawful possession with intent to distribute from Alabama 25 and Industrial Park Road, Montevallo. A white crystal-like substance presumed to be meth (15.74 grams) was confiscated.
-Hindering prosecution from the 100 block of Stoneridge Lane, Sterrett.
-Promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. A glass pipe with black residue (27 grams) was confiscated.
-Domestic violence-harassing communications from the 3000 block of Dundee Lane, Birmingham.
-Incident from the 100 block of Ridge Lane, Shelby.
-Incident from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.
-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 100 block of Shelby County 400, Shelby.
-Death investigation from the 300 block of Talon Drive, Birmingham.
-Incident from Excel, Alabama (Monroe County).
-Identity theft from the 2500 block of Magnolia Place, Birmingham.
-Violation of domestic violence protection order from the 1300 block of Corporate Woods Drive, Alabaster.
-Incident from Hardin Ranch, Shelby.
-Burglary, theft of property from the 1000 block of Shelby County 74, Chelsea. A 2006 Dodge Caravan, 1991 Huds utility 18-foot open trailer, 2003 Ford Escape, LG brand drop in gas range, new LG brand gas double oven and new stand-alone shelves were stolen.
-Harassment from the 1100 block of U.S. 231, Vincent.
-Domestic violence-assault third degree from the 100 block of Cove Road, Wilsonville.
-Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Cove Road, Wilsonville.
April 3
-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 100 block of Deer Valley Lane, Pelham.
-Attempting to elude, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance from U.S. 280 at Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham. Meth (approximately 25.1 grams), 105 white round pills believed to be Diazepam (18.5 grams), a white powder substance believed to be cocaine (3.7 grams), digital scale with a white powder narcotics residue, a burned marijuana blunt (0.9 gram) and a purple AR-15 pistol by Jay’s Hydro Graphics were confiscated.
-Unlawful breaking or entering vehicle from the 8000 block of Woodfern Drive, Indian Springs.
-Duty to remain on scene of accident from the 12000 block of Shelby County 280, Chelsea.
-Minor in possession of alcohol from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.
-Identity theft, theft of property from the 10000 block of Chelsea Road, Chelsea. A total of $15,555.74 was stolen from a bank account.
-Lost firearm from the 1100 block of Springhill Lane, Birmingham.
-Identity theft from the 41000 block of Alabama 25, Vincent. $1,852 in U.S. currency was stolen.
-Death investigation from the 200 block of Hayride Road, Maylene.
-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of School Road, Shelby.
April 4
-Incident from the 100 block of Shaw Drive, Chelsea.
-Incident from the 100 block of Shelby County 205, Montevallo.
-Incident from the 30 block of Day Lily Drive, Columbiana.
-Theft of property from an unknown location. A license plate was stolen.
-Shoplifting from the 16000 block of U.S. 280 at Walmart, Chelsea. A Pulsar generator valued at $398 and a Hart 215-piece tool set valued at $158 were stolen.
-Criminal mischief from the 2000 block of Hiawatha Road, Calera. A cattle gate sustained $317 in damages.
-Incident from the 4600 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.
April 5
-Possession of synthetic urine, unlawful possession of marijuana from U.S. 280 and Board-man Drive, Chelsea. Marijuana wrapped in a cigar (.9 gram), synthetic urine (5 ounces), a Taurus 9-millimeter firearm and two magazines with 20 rounds were confiscated.
-Agency assist from Shelby County 84 and Spring Creek Road, Calera.
-Incident from the 100 block of Lime Creek Lane, Chelsea. A brick single-family dwelling was damaged by a severe house fire with damages of $300,000 or more.
-Death investigation from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.
-Theft of property fourth degree from the 1000 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea. Miscellaneous building materials including sheet metal were stolen.
-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Shelby County 303, Shelby.
-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 50 block of Dusty Way, Harpersville. A gallon of transmission fluid valued at $30 and a plastic funnel valued at $5 were stolen.
