MONTEVALLO – Benefitting the Mary Lou Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund, the 2024 Montevallo Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is set for Thursday, April 18 at Cahaba Fall Country Club in Centreville. This will be the third year the Montevallo Chamber has held the tournament at Cahaba Falls Country Club.

The partnership between the two organizations has led to an ongoing relationship that has grown with each year.

Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. as golf teams tee off at different holes.

As in previous years, the tournament will be a four person scramble with four players on each team. Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third teams.

This golf tournament serves as an annual fundraising event for the Mary Lou Williams Memorial Scholarship fund.

“The golf tournament enables the Montevallo Chamber to offer a scholarship to a Montevallo High School senior and a Bibb County High School senior who has been accepted to the University of Montevallo.” said Adele Nelson, Montevallo Chamber executive director.
