HELENA – The city of Helena has released registration information for families wishing to have their children take part in the upcoming season’s sports.

Registration for spring baseball, spring softball and spring soccer for the 2024 season opened beginning on Dec. 30, and will remain open until later this month. Online registration can currently be accessed at Cityofhelena.org/parks-recreation.

For all three sports, online registration will remain open until Jan. 27 at 11 p.m. and in-person fitting and registrations will occur on Jan. 28 from 1-4 p.m. at the Helena Parks and Recreation office located in the Helena Community Center.

Coaches are also needed for all three programs. Those who are interested in serving in the capacity of a head coach or assistant coach are encouraged to contact Scott Verner through email at sverner@cityofhelena.org.

The Helena Baseball Program is affiliated with USSSA Rec, the Helena Softball Program is affiliated with USA Softball and the Helena Soccer Program is affiliated with local parks.

Pricing for 2024 Spring Baseball is as follows:

• $215.00 for Baseball – Metro (ages 13 and 14)
• $200.00 for Baseball – Rookie thru Major
• $120.00 for T-Ball Baseball – ages 3 and 4
• There is a multi-child discount: $10.00 after dues for the oldest child are paid in full.

The player’s age as of April 30,2024 determines the placement of the player into their respective age division.

Divisions for 2024 Spring Baseball are as follows:

• T-Ball – age 3 and 4
• Rookie (coach pitch) – ages 5 and 6
• Farm (coach pitch) – ages 7 and 8
• Minor (player pitch) – ages 9 and 10
• Major (player pitch) – ages 11 and 12
• Metro (player pitch) – ages 13 and 14

Pricing for 2024 Spring Softball is as follows:

• $200.00 for Softball – 6U-12U
• $120.00 for T-Ball Baseball – ages 3 and 4
• There is a multi-child discount: $10.00 after dues for the oldest child are paid in full.

Divisions for 2024 Spring Softball are as follows:

• 6U – ages 5 and 6 (coach pitch)
• 8U – ages 7 and 8 (coach pitch)
• 10U – ages 9 and 10 (player pitch)
• 12U – ages 11 and 12 (player pitch)

The player’s age as of December 31, 2023 determines the placement of the player into their respective age division.

 

Pricing for 2024 Spring Soccer is as follows:

• $175.00 for Soccer- U9-U12
• $160.00 for Soccer- U8
• $120.00 for Soccer- U6
• There is a multi-child discount: $10.00 after dues for the oldest child are paid in full.

Divisions for 2024 Spring Soccer are as follows:

• U6 – ages 4 and 5
• U8 – ages 6 and 7
• U10 – ages 8 and 9
• U11 – age 10
• U12 – age 11

The player’s age as of Jan. 1,2024 determines the placement of the player into their respective age division. Older age groups and boys and girls groups will be combined if so required.
