The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Oct. 26-Nov. 1:
Oct. 26
-Miscellaneous incident from the 7000 block of Shelby County 39, Chelsea.
-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle, theft of property from the 1700 block of U.S. 31, Calera. A Taurus 9-millimeter handgun valued at $300 was stolen.
-Incident from the 100 block of McGowin Road, Wilsonville.
-Incident from an unspecified location in Columbiana.
-Incident from the 4000 block of Park Crossings Drive, Chelsea.
-Lost property from the 100 block of Woodland Lane, Birmingham. An iPad Pro was reported.
-Incident from the 2500 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.
-Burglary from the 2000 block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Birmingham. An unknown nausea medication was stolen, and an unknown amount of entry points–doors, windows and roof–were damaged.
-Incident from the 2500 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.
-Domestic violence-harassing communications from the 90 block of Dates Lane, Vincent.
-Incident from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.
-Theft of property fourth degree from the 100 block of Olive Way, Columbiana. A Waste Management trash can valued at $100 was stolen.
-SORNA violation-registration with local law enforcement, SORNA violation-registration information from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana.
-Harassing communications from the 1000 block of Smokey Road, Alabaster.
-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 3000 block of Forest Meadows Circle, Birmingham.
Oct. 27
-Death investigation from the 600 block of Thorn Berry Cove, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 90 block of Hardy Lane, Vincent.
-Duty to remain on scene of accident from the 10000 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea. A 2022 Kia Telluride was damaged.
-Death investigation from the 1000 block of Dunnavant Place, Birmingham. Potassium chloride (59.5 count, ER 20 MEQ), Jardiance (two count, 10 mg), Eliquis (33 count, 5 mg), Carvedilol (200 count, 3.125 mg), Furosemide (three count, 20 mg) and Clopidogrel (96 count, 75 mg) were recovered.
-Illegal possession of prescription medication, drug paraphernalia from the 4000 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. A small plastic baggie containing a blue crushed substance (presumptive positive amphetamines) and a spoon with suspected drug residue were confiscated.
-Theft of lost property fourth degree from the 16000 block of U.S. 280 at Walmart, Chelsea. An Apple iPhone 7, wallet and $60 in cash were stolen.
-Incident from the 200 block of Beeswax Park Road, Columbiana at Beeswax Boat Ramp.
-Theft of property from the 400000 block of Alabama 25, Vincent. An FN 509 midsize 9-millimeter firearm valued at $550 was stolen.
-Incident from the 100 block of King’s Ranch Drive, Chelsea.
-Animal attack from the 200 block of Lake View Circle, Vandiver.
-Incident from Jefferson Place at Olmsted Drive, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 800 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham.
-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 1000 block of Inverness Lane, Birmingham.
Oct. 28
-Domestic violence second degree-criminal mischief first degree from the 200 block of Fleming Road, Vincent. A total of 11 windows were shattered valued at $25,000; drywall and a bathroom door were damaged.
-Theft of property fourth degree from the 10000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. Miscellaneous groceries totaling $54.98 were stolen.
-Domestic investigation from the 1200 block of Turtle Lake Drive, Birmingham.
-Incident from the 500 block of Island Street, Montevallo.
-Criminal trespass second degree from the 100 block of Nelson Circle, Montevallo.
-Incident from the 400 block of Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea.
-Domestic investigation from the 1500 block of Bent River Circle, Vestavia Hills.
-Domestic investigation from the 300 block of Shelby County 437, Sterrett.
-Animal bite from the 200 block of Shelby County 201, Montevallo.
-Theft of property from the 6300 block of Farley Lane, Birmingham at Bluff’s at Grey Stone. A platinum diamond ring valued at $25,000 was stolen.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from Shelby County 87 and George Roy Parkway, Calera. Cocaine (approximately 0.6 gram) in a plastic bag was confiscated.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from Shelby County 87 and George Roy Parkway, Calera. Marijuana (approximately 0.9 grams) in a clear plastic bag was confiscated.
Oct. 29
-Domestic investigation from the 4900 block of Indian Valley Road, Birmingham.
-DUI-alcohol from U.S. 280 West and Highland Lakes Drive, Birmingham.
-DUI-alcohol, inoperable brake lights from Simmsville Road and Fourth Avenue Northeast, Alabaster.
-DUI-alcohol improper lane usage from Hugh Daniel Drive and Farmhouse Way.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from Alabama 145 and Shelby County 46 Shelby. Meth (approximately 0.5 gram) and a used needle with residue were confiscated.
-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 10000 block of Shelby County 55, Westover.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts) from the 100 block of Inverness Plaza, Birmingham. Meth (approximately 1.5 grams) and Fentanyl (0.3 gram) were confiscated.
-Harassment from the 200 block of Gunlock Road, Wilton.
-Animal bite from the 300 block of Forest Lakes Drive, Chelsea.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 3000 block of Davenport Street, Pelham. Meth (approximately .1 gram), a syringe with approximately .30 mil, a digital scale with meth residue, a meth bong and a Taser 7 cartridge were recovered.
-Incident from the 200 block of Shelby County 81, Vincent.
Oct. 30
-Harassing communications from the 42500 block of Alabama 25, Vincent.
-Property damage from the 42600 block of U.S. 231, Vincent. A railroad bridge-Norfolk Southern Railroad Company was damaged.
-Incident from the 100 block of Ashford Lane, Alabaster.
-Incident from the 700 block of Shelby County 338, Chelsea.
-Identity theft, theft of property from the 20000 block of Shelby County 55, Sterrett. Two PayPal transactions totaling $2,981 were reported.
-Theft of property from the 2000 block of Shelby County 89, Montevallo. A Kel Tec PF-9 9-millimeter valued at $140, 9-millimeter ball point ammunition valued at $20 and a Keltec PF-9, 9-millimeter magazine valued at $10 were stolen.
-Fire investigation from the 600 block of Church Street, Montevallo.
-Theft of property from the 300 block of Foothills Place, Chelsea.
-Domestic investigation from the 2200 block of U.S. 31, Calera.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 1500 block of Old Highway 25, Columbiana. Cocaine (approximately 1 gram) with packaging was confiscated.
Oct. 31
-Incident from the 300 block of Kendrick Road, Chelsea.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana from U.S. 280 East at the 22-mile marker, Westover. A marijuana blunt roach, marijuana grinder, white circular pill and pink and oddly-shaped pill were confiscated.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from Shelby County 10 and Shelby County 255, Montevallo. Meth (approximately 5 grams in a clear plastic bag), a black and orange homemade bong with residue in the stem, glass pipe with burn marks, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia (marked for destruction), two packs of plastic bags and a scale were confiscated.
-Fire investigation from the 100 block of Autry Drive, Chelsea. An apartment was damaged by fire.
-Identity theft from the 1000 block of Forest Meadows Drive, Birmingham.
-Electronic solicitation of a child from the 1500 block of Shelby Forest Lane, Chelsea.
-Incident from the Shelby County Courthouse, 112 N. Main St., Columbiana.
-Incident from the 42500 block of Alabama 25, Vincent.
-Theft of property from the 100 block of Clairmont Road, Sterrett. A total of $234,706.88 in cash equity from sale of a home was stolen.
-Parking prohibited in specific places from Hillendale Drive and Green Glade Road, Birmingham.
-Death investigation from the 6100 block of Shelby County 10, Montevallo.
-Incident from the 60 block of AL Youth Drive, Sterrett.
-Domestic investigation from the 50 block of Pine Lane, Chelsea.
Nov. 1
-DUI-alcohol from Stonehaven Trail and Walker Way, Pelham.
-Property damage from Alabama 25 and Mallary Road, Wilsonville. A 2023 Chevy Equinox was damaged.
-Incident from the 1600 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham.
-Change bills-circulating and theft of property fourth degree from the 4000 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. A fake $100 bill was confiscated, a flash drive containing video footage of the crime was utilized; a pack of Newport and pack of Backwoods valued at $13.73 and a total of $86.27 in U.S. currency were stolen.
-Harassing communications from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.
-Incident from the 1000 block of Holly Brook Lake Road, Birmingham.
-Burglary from the 200 block of Gilmore-Nick Circle, Montevallo. Two locks on outdoor sheds valued at $20 were damaged, a door valued at $100 was damaged, and assorted DJ equipment and lighting were stolen.
-Incident from the 1500 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham. A rear right tire valued at $150 was damaged.
-Theft of property from the 10000 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea. A 2003 Chevy Silverado was stolen.
-Incident from the 500 block of Chelsea Station Circle, Chelsea.
-Domestic investigation from the 5400 block of U.S. 280 at Siegel Select, Birmingham.
-Fire investigation from the 300 block of Evergreen Road, Shelby. A wooden barn was burned.
-Incident from the 100 block of Shelby County 402, Shelby. A single-axle 6×10 Diamond-T solid black gated pipe trailer with wooden deck valued at $2,400 was stolen.
