Riley Eugene Morris, age 66, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, July 21 in Shelby.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 22 at Shelby Garden of Rest.
He was the oldest of four children, born on January 13, 1954.
He is survived by his sister, Darlene Simpson (Dennis); his brothers, Larry Morris (Rachel) and Fred Morris, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Riley Morris and Pauline Caldwell Morris.
Riley Morris, the man, the myth, the legend lived many lives in one lifetime. He was a samurai swordsman, a redheaded Viking, an experienced ranch hand and avid outdoorsman. He was a special agent with the FBI and held highly classified positions for other unknown agencies. He was an advisor on several important projects, such as the building of the Pentagon. Riley was a world traveler and scholar of life and love. He was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
