George Harden Emfinger, 77, of Montevallo, passed away Monday, July 6 at his residence in Montevallo.

He was born Nov. 10 in Elmore and was the son of the late Clarence Emfinger and Mary Emfinger.

He was a welder by trade.

Surviving are his son, Kevin Emfinger; daughter, Regina Walden; son, Randall (Nikki) Jones; daughter, Stephanie Emfinger; son, Rayburn Moore; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Emfinger; father, Clarence Emfinger; and mother, Mary Louise Emfinger.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 11 from 10-11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Clanton.

Services will be held Saturday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Zac Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
