“I’d like to thank the residents of Ward 2 for their support, and I’m proud of the progress we’ve made over the last four years,” Ellis said. “I have enjoyed serving our community and I hope to have the opportunity to continue to serve our residents and this great city.”

During his first four years, Ellis has worked hard to improve Alabaster’s park and recreation facilities, promote economic growth and support local businesses. He has also made it a priority to further build the relationship between the school system and the city.

“I look forward to continue strengthening the relationship that the city has with our school system, as well as making additional enhancements to our parks and working toward continued economic growth. I am excited to continue to work on projects that have been started and I look forward to see what is in store for Alabaster’s future.”

Ellis and his wife of 16 years, Kristy, have two daughters: Nora and Allie Rae.

Kristy Ellis teaches first grade at Alabaster’s Creek View Elementary School.
