HELENA – Helena Hollow is set to hold a 21 and up “Boot Scootin’ Barn Dance” event for the community on Friday, June 26.

According to Amy Griffin of Helena Hollow, the dance is designed to be a creative night of fun and dancing specifically for adults.

“We decided to host this event because we are always hosting events for children, but never anything geared towards adults,” Griffin explained. “We have been trying to come up with creative ways to use our space but still keep our crowd numbers low and regulated, and this is one of those events.”

The event will be cowboy themed so guests are encouraged to wear their best western gear to join in on the fun with others.

As the name suggests, the event is geared toward a fun barn dance. Guests will have access to an optimal line dancing lesson. Guests will also be able to ride a mechanical bull and listen to live music from We Are Brothers featuring Shawm Lackey.

“Dinner will be cooked on site by Texas Roadhouse and will include two steak sliders, grilled corn on the cob and baked beans,” Griffin said.

Dessert will also be provided by Dixieland Funnel Cakes, who will also be in attendance to provide cakes for each guest.

Tickets are sold as couples for $100, which includes the purchaser and their date, and are available at Eventbrite.com/e/boot-scootin-barn-dance-tickets-107084255892.
