Alvin Reid, age 86, of Wilsonville, passed away Sunday, May 17.

The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, May 21 at Bolton Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Bro. Joel Farrow officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Reid is survived by his wife of 68 years, Cora Lee Reid; son, Terry Reid (Carol); daughter, Rita Reid; grandchildren, Shelby (Austin), Samantha (Donavin), and Todd (Kayla); five great grandchildren; brother, Tommy Reid (Frieda); sister, Lucy Hill; sister-in-laws and brothers-in-laws; and friends and family.
