April M. Harper (Nix), age 42, of Calera passed away Wednesday, April 22.

She is preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Catherine Nix; grandfather, Arthur Hanner; aunt, Kathy Hanner; and uncles, Jerry Hanner and Tommy Hanner.

She is survived by her daughter, Makenzie Harper and son, Jacob Harper; parents, Ricky and Patricia Nix; grandmother, Maebell Hanner; sister, Stacy (Ron) Garrett; brother, Ricky (Tori) Nix; lifelong friend/sister, Jennifer Stagner Howard and family; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends.

Memorial/celebration of life to be announced in June.
