Margaret Elizabeth Rogers, age 76, of Columbiana, passed away Monday, April 6. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, Georgia.

Ms. Rogers was born on March 2, 1944 in Amsterdam, New York to the late Everett Lloyd Rogers and Margaret Bath Rogers.

Ms. Rogers worked for the Department of Human Resources for many years. Her great work at DHR gave many families an opportunity for a great life.

Ms. Rogers enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers, learning about flowers, and, most of all, loved all her animals. She loved spending time with her only grandchild, too.

Ms. Rogers is survived by her daughter, Mariana Rogers Key; sisters, Jean Rogers Huffstutler and Hope A. Buchanan; grandchild, Eleanor Elizabeth Key; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
