Arthur Lee Brackin, age 78, of Calera, passed away Sunday, March 22, after battling Alzheimer’s.
Arthur Lee lived his entire life in Central Alabama, one of four children to Thomas and Flossie Brackin. He owned and operated his own logging company. He was a Christian man, loving father and grandfather, and a blessing to all who knew him. He was a hard-working, family man who will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Wayne Brackin.
He is survived by his children, Susan Brackin Hirschmann (David), Pamela DeAnn Brackin, and Greg Brackin (Stacie); mother of his children, Ann Brackin; grandchildren, Eva Hirschmann, Brack Wyatt (Kristin), Paizley Darby, Fred Darby, Savannah Brackin, Leah Brackin, Katie Payton; great-grandchildren, Makana, Easton Lee, Colin, Braxton and Waylon; brother, Tommy Joe Brackin; sister, Peggy June Gibson (Robert); and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Rock Springs Cemetery in Calera.
