Name: Madeline Epperson
School: Chelsea Middle School
Grade: Eighth
What’s your favorite subject in school?

Epperson

Math is one of my favorite subjects in school; however, I have always enjoyed most of my classes.
What school groups are you involved in? Beta Club, Cheer Squad, Lady Hornets Softball and Lady Hornets Basketball
What community groups are you involved in? I am a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church youth group and play with the AL-Jordan 04 Firecracker Softball Organization.
Who is your favorite teacher? I have been blessed with many amazing teachers that have impacted my life and it would be too difficult to narrow it down to just one. Thank you to all of you that have invested in me and my academics.
What are your hobbies? Softball, basketball and cheering have been some of my favorite hobbies for the past couple of years. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
If you could donate $100 to a charity, which one would you choose? If I had $100 to donate to a charity, I would donate to Kids in the Game, an organization that provides financial support for families that might not otherwise be able to afford for their child to get involved in recreational activities.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to be an engineer. I have many family members that work in different fields of engineering for example, chemical, mechanical, electrical, civil, and industrial. They have all explained to me what they do and have helped narrow it down to a few certain fields of engineering. The one that I have found lots of interest in is biomedical engineering.
