Donald Kent, age 64, of Shelby County and Columbus, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 11.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Open Door Church, 120 Laurel Woods, Helena, Al 35080.

Donald is preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Kent and brother, Sonny Kent.

Mr. Kent is survived by his wife, Cheryl Kent; sons, James Kent, Shane Kent (Megan); daughter, Donna Cunningham (Bryan); five grandchildren; siblings, Ann Mobley (Rex), Larry Kent, Brenda Whited (Dennis), Patricia Knox, Cissy McNish (Jr.), Donna Donahoo (Rocky), and Sherry Dodson (Tom); and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
