PELHAM – Those near Cahaba Valley Road in need of a morning coffee fix, an afternoon pick-me up or just a casual spot to work using Wi-Fi may now do so at the recently opened Starbucks Coffee Company in Pelham.

Starbucks opened its first Pelham location at 240 Cahaba Valley Road to the public on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 following a friends and family evening event.

The Pelham Starbucks is currently one of the largest cafe’s in the area that includes a drive thru, a large community table with multiple smaller tables and comfortable chairs, an outdoor area with umbrellas and more.

This location currently employs 25 baristas as Bryn Karr serves as the store manager, Stefanie Higgins serves as the assistant store manager and Brookelyn Rellah serves as the district manager.

Other features of the Cahaba Valley Road Starbucks include the acceptance of mobile orders and mobile pay, digital rewards, oven-warmed food and the location offers Nitro Cold Brew in addition to other coffee.

The hours of operation at the Pelham Starbucks are Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This location currently partners with the Pelham Pet Pantry as a food drop-off location and Karr said this Starbucks “would love to be as involved in the community as much as we can and are constantly looking for places to volunteer our time.”
