MONTEVALLO – The Parnell Memorial Library will host an after-hours Fall Festival on Monday, Oct. 28, from 5-7 p.m.

Activities will include games, snacks, a book walk and a costume contest.

“We’re excited to be able to host an event especially aimed at working families,” Library Director Savannah Kitchens said. “So many fall events happen during the day that working parents can’t attend, so this is an opportunity to spend some time together at a free event.”

Everyone is invited to come and show off their best Halloween costume for a chance to win the grand prize, enjoy fresh-popped popcorn and, of course, lots of candy.
