OLV church, school to host joint Fall Food Festival and Fun Zone

INDIAN SPRINGS – Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and School will kick off the fall season with their fourth annual Food Festival and Fun Zone on Saturday, Oct. 5. Both events begin at 5:30 p.m.
The food festival, hosted by OLV Church, will be held in the church’s Social Hall and will feature Italian, Irish, Mexican, Cajun and American food; beer and wine also will be available. The band Livewire will begin performing at 7:15 p.m.
Other activities at the food festival include a silent auction, liquor walk, and a drawing with prizes of $1,000 cash; a two-night stay at Jubilee Landing in Orange Beach; and a gift card bundle.
Outside, OLV School will host a children’s Fun Zone area from 5:30-7:30 p.m. that includes a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, hayride, pumpkin patch and games. Children are encouraged to wear costumes to both events.
The two events are taking place simultaneously but are two separate admissions. Tickets to the Food Festival may be purchased at the door only. Admission is $10 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Adult admission includes five food/drink tickets, with additional food tickets available for purchase.
Admission to the children’s Fun Zone is $10 if purchased in advance or $12 at the door. All parents and children 2 and under are free.
A pumpkin from the pumpkin patch is an additional $5.
Advance tickets to the Fun Zone can be purchased until 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, online at Bit.ly/olvfamilyfunzone.
