Westover welcomes a new city clerk (community column)

As of July 10, the City of Westover has a new face in the office.
Bonnie Meacham has accepted the position of City Clerk and Treasurer and she has been welcomed with open arms.
Meacham was previously owner of an HVAC company for 20 years and a pest control company for four years. Her extensive knowledge of managing accounts, bookkeeping and running business affairs will be valuable traits that will certainly be an asset to the City Hall. She is also serving on the Westover City Council and also the Planning and Development Committee.
Meacham has lived in Shelby County for 40 years. She is a graduate of Vincent High School and has a love for the county and all of its citizens. Having had her own business in the past, she has a heart for local businesses and encourages other to support local. She attends Vincent Revival Center in Vincent and has a wonderful, supportive church family who admire her as well.
The office of the clerk is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Meacham will be happy to help you with permits, business licenses, or any other business you may need help with.
“I am looking forward to being a part of the City of Westover and supporting Mayor Larry Riggins and all of the citizens of Westover. Thank you for this opportunity,” she said.
