A missing teenager has been located and deemed “safe” by law enforcement officials.

“Trinity has been located and is safe,” read an updated post on the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page on July 11 regarding Trinity Alexis McCary, 17.

SCSO had asked for the public’s help in locating McCary in the areas of Lay Lake, Lake Martin or Forrestdale.

“We received a lot of tips from this post,” the post read. “Thank you for your help.”
