James Patton Hill, age 25, of Wilsonville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 7.

The memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Wilsonville Baptist Church.

Patton is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tina Blackerby Ogle and Ellis Ogle; brother-in-law, Greg Hester; loved one, Josh Hester, and cousin, Adam Reach.

He is survived by his wife, Libby; two sons, Elijah Lane and Gregory James Maverick; father, Jeff Hill; mother, Tami Hill (Anthony); siblings, Chase Hill (Tori), Chrystyna Buse (Caleb), and Elisabeth Taylor-Hester; sisters-in-law, Ashley Bramlett (Bryant) and Kimberly Tipton (Payne); mother-in-law, Sheila Tipton; father-in-law, Barry Tipton; grandparents, Ellis Hill (Lynn), Ann Armstrong, and Tina Ogle; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends that he loved.

Patton was employed by Conn-Crete.

There are too many words to describe Patton. Compassionate, loving, giving, and selfless are just some of the few. The most cherished however are husband, father, son, and friend. His love for his family and friends was not a secret to anyone. Nor was his love for the water. He is a soul that was taken to soon that is now a beautiful angel.
