HELENA – School is almost out for the summer and with that comes free time that allows children an opportunity to explore a variety of summer camps ranging from several different sports to a musical theatre camp.

Helena High School will offer several fun opportunities for boys and girls through summer camps in both June and July. The school will host athletic and music summer camps including soccer, volleyball, baseball, cheerleading, basketball and a musical theatre camp.

The youth soccer camp is open to any rising K-7^th graders as the camp will run from Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 7. The camp will begin at 7:45 a.m. and end at 11:45 a.m. each day. For $125, The camp will include instruction, a T-shirt, drinks, a special daily treat and Kona Ice at the end of the week. The youth volleyball camp is open to any rising K-6^th graders as the camp will run from Monday, June 10 to Thursday, June 13. The camp will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon each day. For $100, The camp will include instruction, a T-shirt and concessions will be available during break time. Each camper should wear gym shorts, tennis shoes and a T-shirt each day. The youth baseball camp is open to any rising children ages 6-12 as the camp will run from Monday, June 10 to Wednesday, June 12. The camp will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. each day. For $75, The camp will include fundamental and skill instruction with an emphasis on stressing the importance of academics, character, teamwork and sportsmanship. The youth cheerleading camp is open to any rising K-6^th graders as the camp will run from Tuesday, June 18 to Thursday, June 20. The camp will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon each day. The youth basketball camp is open to any rising kindergarten through eighth graders as the camp will run from Monday, June 24 to Wednesday, June 26. The camp will begin at 8 a.m. and end at noon each day. For $85, The camp will include instruction, a T-shirt, skill work and shooting fundamentals, team and individual competitions, individualized instruction for players of any level and experience and concessions. The youth musical theatre camp is open to any rising K-5^th graders as the camp will run from Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19. The camp will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. each day. For $75, the camp will include rotations of music and singing each day along with staging recreation, a T-shirt and a snack. Campers should wear gym shorts, a T-shirt and tennis shoes each day.
