ALABASTER – Compact 2020 and the For Tomorrow organizations are holding a night of prayer, worship and learning for the area’s faith community at Thompson High School in early May.
The event will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, in the Performing Arts Center of the new Thompson High School, and will focus on educating the area’s faith community and parents about the issues facing the city’s youth.
“Our hope is to educate you on the challenges facing our youth and empower you to make a difference,” read the event’s description. “We can do more together than we can do apart.”
All area church congregations and parents are invited to the event. In addition to prayer and worship, the night will also feature a keynote presentation from Compact 2020 Executive Director Clay Hammac.
