Bobby Joe Talton, age 91, of Columbiana, passed away Friday, April 26.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 3 at the funeral home with Darrell Sammons officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Talton was a member of the Kingdom Fire Department. He was also a Korean War veteran as a member of the 2nd Battalion Infantry “Indian Head.”

Mr. Talton is survived by his son-in-law, Bill Jones; grandchildren, Gail Sammons (Darrell), Ester Shiflett (Danny), Gaia Faust (Freeman), and Kenny Jones (Bridgette); nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
