HARPERSVILLE – A 24-year-old Vincent man was arrested on Tuesday, April 16, on drug charges related to crystal meth.

Narcotics investigators with the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Austin Tyler Dobbs off U.S. 280 in Harpersville and charged him with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Dobbs, who lists an address off Raley Street in Vincent, was released from the Shelby County Jail on Thursday, April 18, on bonds totaling $15,000.

No court date had been set as of April 18.
