Frances Higgins, age 88, of Shelby, passed away Saturday, March 16.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 20 at the funeral home with Rev. Don Vanderslice officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Higgins is survived by her children, Richard H. Higgins (Alma), Charles G. Higgins (Lisa), Larry M. Higgins (Cindy), and Florence L. Vanderslice (Don); 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
