The Foundry Thrift Store is preparing to do some spring cleaning and the nonprofit organization is encouraging residents to do the same.

The Foundry’s Spring Cleaning Sale will take place from March 21-23 at its locations in Cullman, Fairfield and Pelham. The Foundry will provide incentives for donors to jump-start their spring cleaning process by giving those who make a donation at any Foundry thrift store location a discount card for 10 percent off an entire purchase.

Other spring-cleaning promotions include $5 for all coats, $2 sweaters and 25 percent off of everything else, except for new mattresses and new furniture.

The Foundry Thrift Stores offer low-cost merchandise including gently used clothing, furniture, household items and collectibles – all donated by members of the community. Proceeds from sales support the Foundry’s rescue, recovery and re-entry programs. The Foundry has programs to help the homeless, people engulfed addiction and men recently released from incarceration. The Foundry is also committed to recycling and repurposing items that cannot be sold.
