ALABASTER – The Angel Warriors Foundation will continue a popular spring event for area individuals with special needs and their families, as it has set the date for its 2019 Easter Eggstravaganza.

The third-annual Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 2-4 p.m. at Larry Simmons Stadium off Thompson Road. If it rains on April 13, the event will be moved into the nearby Thompson Intermediate School gym.

The event is open to all local individuals with special needs and their immediate family members, and will include a visit from the Easter bunny, an Easter egg hunt and other fun activities.

The event is free, but attendees are asked to visit Angelwarriorsfoundation.org and notify AWF they are coming so the Easter bunny brings enough Easter eggs.
