South City Theatre offering youth acting classes

PELHAM – Do you have a budding performer in your family? If so, South City Theatre is once again gearing up to offer acting classes for area youth.
This award-winning community theatre company has three opportunities for theatrical training and performing for youth.
Through Acting Up, South City Theatre’s youth division, workshops, classes and lessons are offered for aspiring actors. The goal is to guide young actors through the entire production experience, including the thrill of a curtain call.
Space is limited and all registered participants will have an active role in the production. The spring 2019 classes begins Feb. 4 and ends April 29, with no classes March 18 and March 25.
The following is information about each class offered:
Home School Class
$200
For 4th-12th graders
Mondays from 1-3 p.m.
Performance on April 29 at 7 p.m.
Younger Kids Class
$100
For K-4th grade
Mondays from 4-4:45 p.m.
Showcase on April 29 at 5 p.m.
Older Kids Class
$259
For 4th-12th graders
Mondays from 5-7 p.m.
Tech week is April 22-25
Performances on April 26 at 7 p.m. and April 27 at 2 p.m.
